Ellora Pride. Sr. No. 110/11. Terrace Restaurant. 5th Floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is out, but the 5th floor is where we are. Being on the terrace means we get a lot of wind. It’s a restaurant, so the afternoons are spent prepping. We have to wipe down the tables and check the stock. The kitchen is always busy. We manage the hotel side of things from a small corner here. It’s not your typical office. There’s the smell of food all day. We like the open air. It gets crowded in the evenings when people come for dinner. We have to balance the restaurant work with the hotel management work. It’s a lot of multitasking. Sometimes we are short-staffed and we all have to jump in to help. We don’t have fancy titles. Everyone just does what needs to be done. The view from the terrace is okay, you can see the nearby buildings and the street below. We’ve had some good times here. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours on your feet. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR team. People just find us. We just try to keep the place clean and the guests happy. It’s a simple business at the end of the day. We are just here every day, doing the best we can with what we have. It’s tiring but we are used to it by now. We treat our staff like family because we’ve all been working together for a long time.
