Romeo Jacob Musical Academy

We started Romeo Jacob Musical Academy because we just really liked music and wanted a place to teach it. Our location is on Nagar Road, specifically on the 4th Main. It’s not a huge fancy school with soundproofed glass everywhere. Mostly, it’s just a space where instruments are lying around and someone is always trying to get a scale right. Students come in at all hours, from little kids to older folks who finally have time to learn. It can get pretty noisy, as you can imagine. Sometimes the guitars are out of tune and we spend half the lesson just fixing that. Marketing isn't really something we do. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or friends. We just teach what we know and hope the students enjoy it. The place is a bit cluttered with sheet music and old amplifiers. We probably should tidy up more often, but we usually just end up playing something instead. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We aren't trying to produce world-class stars, just people who can play a song they like. It’s been a good journey so far. We enjoy the mess and the noise and seeing someone finally hit the right note. It's just a small academy on a busy road, but it feels like home when the music is going. Doors stay open for anyone who wants to learn. We've been here for years.
