You can find us on Senapati Bapat Road, specifically at Dr Raj Kumar Road in the 6th Block. It’s a busy intersection and there is always something happening right outside the door. We have these big freezers that stay on all the time, and they make a constant low noise that you stop noticing after five minutes of being inside. The lights inside are bright so people can see all the different tubs we have on display behind the glass. It gets really busy in the evenings when families come out after dinner to grab something cold to eat. We go through a lot of napkins and spoons, and the floor usually needs a mop every hour or so because of the drips. We aren't trying to be some high-end dessert lounge or anything like that. It’s just a shop with cold stuff for local people. Sometimes the kids get a bit loud and excited, which makes the place feel full of life even when the room is small. We have a few benches outside where people sit when it’s nice out in the evening. The traffic on SB Road is always moving, so there is a lot of dust that we have to wipe off the counters constantly throughout our shift. We just keep the scoops moving and make sure the lids are closed tight so things stay frozen. It’s a straightforward job and we’ve been doing it at this location for a good bit of time now. It’s just us, the freezers, and the people walking in.
