RGVG Constructions Private Limited operates out of a flat in The Celsia Park, right near Zeal College in Narhe, Pune. It’s a lively area because of all the students walking around, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick snack or a tea. Being in room 605, we have a decent view of the surroundings, but mostly we are looking at blueprints or the computer screen. The traffic in this part of Pune can get pretty bad during peak hours, so we try to time our site visits carefully. We do construction work, which means we are often out in the sun more than we are in the office. The team is small, and we don't bother with a lot of the corporate talk you hear in the bigger firms. We just focus on the bricks and the cement. Sometimes things go slow with the permits or the rain, but that is just how it is in this business. We’ve set up our office to be functional rather than pretty. There are piles of samples in the corner and a lot of talk about costs and deadlines. It is a practical way to run things. We like being close to the college because the energy of the neighborhood is good. We just try to finish the projects we started and make sure they are done right. No big promises, just honest work on every floor we build for the people here.
