K. D. B. Surgicals

K. D. B. Surgicals is over in the Sugandha Complex in Rasta Peth. Our units are 500 and 501-b. It’s a large complex and it can be easy to get lost if you haven't been here before. We have a lot of space for our stock which is good because we carry many different types of surgical items. The floors are tiled and we spend a lot of time sweeping up the bits of cardboard and plastic that fall off the boxes. Rasta Peth is a busy commercial area so there are always trucks loading and unloading nearby. Our office area is just a corner with a couple of desks and a phone. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. Mostly it is just calendars and a few charts showing our inventory levels. The light in the complex is a bit dim in the evenings so we have to use extra lamps at our desks. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the orders that come in. Sometimes the neighbors come in to borrow a stapler or just to chat for a minute. It’s a friendly enough place to work. We have a routine of checking the stock every morning before the first delivery arrives. It’s just us doing the daily tasks and making sure the crates are labeled correctly before they leave.
