Out in Padvi, things stay pretty quiet most of the time. Our office is set up over at Dattatray Shivaji Shitole’s place, and that is where we keep all the records. Instead of some fancy glass building, it’s just a regular house where we sit to talk about upcoming jobs. Getting into Pune takes a bit of a drive, but we manage the commute. When the sun is really beating down on the sites, everyone just wants to find a tree for a bit of shade. This kind of construction is hard work, mostly focusing on getting sand and bricks delivered on time. Most of our day is spent on the phone or driving around the local roads. We are just a few people trying to make things stand up straight. Whether a truck gets stuck or the rain messes up the schedule, that’s just life in this part of Maharashtra. Marketing isn't really something we do. We just stick to what we know. Office number 01 is easy to find if you are in the area. Having been around for a while now, it feels okay to see a project finished after weeks of digging and mixing cement. We keep at it one day at a time to make sure the walls are solid. It is a lot of physical labor and dusty clothes by the end of the day. We aren't doing anything special, just building.
