Our place is located on Plot No. E-54 in the Ranjangaon Industrial Area, which is part of the M. I. D. C. zone. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s a massive area filled with all kinds of factories. Svs Thermopack Pvt. Ltd. sits right in the middle of it. We work with thermocol and packaging stuff, so the warehouse is always full of those big white blocks and molded shapes. It’s actually pretty quiet inside compared to some of the metal shops nearby, but it gets very dusty. We spend a lot of time checking the molds and making sure the steam lines are working right for the expansion process. The sun hits this plot pretty hard in the afternoon, so we’re always thankful for the high ceilings. Most of our workers live nearby or come in on the company buses that roam around Ranjangaon. We aren't a big flashy company; we just have our set of customers and we keep them supplied. The office is just a couple of rooms near the gate where we handle the invoices and talk to the drivers. Sometimes the local monkeys from the hills nearby come around and mess with the stuff we leave outside, which is always a bit of a laugh. It’s a steady life out here in the industrial belt, just making sure the production line keeps moving and the trucks are loaded on time for the long drive out.
