We are over here in Dapodi, Pune, right on K.S. Kohli Marg. Most people know the spot because the Phugewadi bus stop is just a short walk away. It’s a busy area and we’ve been at 31/1 A for a while now. The work involves a lot of export packaging. Usually, the mornings start with checking what needs to go out and getting the materials ready. It’s noisy because of the traffic outside and the machines inside, but that’s just how it is in this part of Pune. We handle a lot of boxes and crates. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we manage. People stop by and ask for directions to the bus stop all the time. Our building isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we get things done. We see the same faces every day, from the tea stall guy to the drivers. It’s mostly about making sure the goods are wrapped right so they don't break during travel. There is always tape and cardboard everywhere. We spend most of our time on the floor making sure things are secure. It is honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
