Ranjan Engineering

Ranjan Engineering is based in B-6, H Block, over in the MIDC area of Pimpri. If you know Pimpri, you know it is a hub for this kind of work. We have been in this unit for quite a few years now. The walls are a bit stained and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it is where we get everything done. We do engineering work, which mostly involves a lot of measuring, cutting, and welding. It is loud and can get quite hot in the afternoons. Our team is small, just a handful of us who know how to handle the lathes and drills. We don't have a website that gets updated or anything like that. Most people find us because they saw our sign or heard about us from someone else in the MIDC. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the slow parts of the day. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner that we mean to clear out but never quite get to. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the block. We just want to finish the jobs we have so we can go home to our families. Sometimes the machines act up and we spend half a day just getting them back online. It is frustrating, but it is part of the life here. We just keep at it, day after day, making parts and fixing things for whoever needs it.
