Rani Engineering Works

Rani Engineering Works is based out in Sanaswadi, which is part of Tal Shirur. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but there is plenty of industrial activity happening out this way now. We set up our workshop here because there was enough space for our equipment and it’s close to some of the bigger factories. We do a lot of basic engineering tasks and fabrication. It’s mostly just us and our machines. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building with high ceilings to keep the heat out. We spend most of our hours welding or cutting metal. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we try to keep things as clean as possible for a machine shop. We don’t use any complicated systems to run the place. We just write things down in a notebook and make sure the work gets finished when we said it would. It’s a simple life out here in Sanaswadi. We see a lot of trucks passing by on the highway every day. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we don't have to deal with long commutes. We just show up, do the work, and head home. It’s a reliable routine that has worked for us for a long time. There is always more to learn but we manage.
