It’s right in the heart of the farming belt, so dairy is something everyone around here knows and lives by. We operate out of a traditional setup on the Jagatap family land. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a family chore that just grew into a business over time. We have been here in Dhakaletal for generations, though the company name is more recent. The office is really just a desk in the main house where we keep the computer and the stamp for the letters. Most of our work happens out in the sheds or on the road moving the milk to the local centers. Baramati can get incredibly hot in the summer, so we do most of our heavy lifting in the early morning or late evening when it's cooler. We don't have fancy brochures or a website that looks professional. We just have our name, Rajabhau Dairy Farm, and this address at Post Dhakaletal. It’s a lot of hard work and not much rest, especially during the festival seasons. But the people here are good and we have been at this address for so long it feels like part of us. It’s just a regular dairy farm life in rural Pune, nothing more and nothing less for us.
