Radha Krishna Driving School

Our place is Shop No. 23, which is right near the Ganapati Mata Mandir in Warje Malwadi. If you know that area of Pune 411058, you know it gets quite busy with people going to the temple. We have been running Radha Krishna Driving School from this small shop for some time now. It’s a simple setup. We have the logs and the registration books on the table and that is about it. Most of the people who come to us are from around the neighborhood. They want to learn how to handle the local traffic without getting into trouble. Maharashtra roads are not always the easiest to navigate, especially when you are just starting out. We spend most of our hours in the car, teaching people how to use the clutch and look in the mirrors properly. It’s a lot of repeating the same things, but that’s how you learn I suppose. The shop is small so we don't really have a waiting area. People usually just wait outside or come exactly at their time. We try to keep things running on a schedule but sometimes traffic makes us a few minutes late. It happens. We aren't some big school with dozens of cars. We just have a few and we look after them ourselves. It’s just a normal local place helping folks get their license and feel okay on the road. We stay open until late evening most days to fit everyone in.
