R D Engineer

Setting up R D Engineer near the Telephone Exchange on Dehu Road was a practical choice for us. Pune is a big place, but this little corner feels more like a community where everyone recognizes each other. We’ve been here at Sadanand Ghorpade’s place for a bit now. It’s a straightforward setup. We do engineering work, mostly small-scale stuff that keeps the local shops and residents going. You won’t find any shiny offices here. It’s mostly just grease, metal, and the sound of machines running. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially near the exchange, but you get used to it after a week. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down or the work is finished. It’s just a few of us who like working with our hands. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy reports. If someone has a part that needs fixing or a small design they need help with, they just drop by. We take a look, give a nod, and get to it. Sometimes we have to wait on parts to arrive from the city center, but we try to keep things moving. It’s a decent life and the neighbors are good people who don't mind the noise we make once in a while. It can get dusty, but that is all part of the job.
