Priya Pan General Stores

Priya Pan General Stores is situated right along the Chinchwad Ring Road. Being on the ring road means we get a lot of travelers and truck drivers stopping by, along with the locals who live in the apartments nearby. It is a small shop, packed with everything from cigarettes and pan to soap and snacks. It is a bit of a jumble inside, but we know where everything is kept. I spend most of my day sitting at the front, watching the traffic go by and helping the customers who stop their cars. It is not the most exciting job, but it is our livelihood. We stay open pretty late because that is when a lot of people are heading home and realize they forgot to buy something. The dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes, so we are always wiping down the counters and the jars. We do not have any big signs or fancy advertisements. People just see the shop as they drive past and pull over. It has been here for a few years now, and we have become a bit of a landmark for the regulars. We are not trying to be a big chain or anything. It is just a small family-run store trying to make ends meet. We take things one day at a time, keeping the shelves filled and the customers happy enough to come back.
