Prime Steel Art

Our shop is No 02 on Station Road, right near Sant Kabir Chowk in Nana Peth. It’s a place where we work with steel all day long. You can usually hear the sound of metal being moved around or tools working from the street. It’s a dusty job, so the shop isn't exactly sparkling clean, but that’s just the nature of steel work. We have been here for years, and the neighborhood knows us. Nana Peth is full of small shops like ours. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and start on the orders we have. Sometimes we are working on gates, other times it’s smaller pieces. It depends on what people need. The space is a bit cramped with all the raw materials stacked against the walls. We have to be careful moving things around so we don't hit anything. We take our time to make sure the measurements are right. It’s practical work. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grit. We don't mind the hard work. It’s just what we do. Being near Sant Kabir Chowk makes it easy for trucks to drop off the heavy stuff. We keep things simple and focus on the metal. We aren't much for talking, we just prefer to get the welding and cutting done. It’s hard work but it pays the bills.
