Prashant Distributors

We are at Prashant Distributors, located at 1364 Kasba Peth, right in the heart of the old city area. It is a very old building, like most of the structures around this part of town. We handle distribution for various goods. Our space is filled with boxes and crates from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze inside if you do not know where things are kept. We have been here for a long time, and the neighbors all know us. Every day, trucks come in and out, which is quite a difficult task in these narrow lanes. We have to time everything perfectly so we do not block the whole road for everyone else. It is a lot of manual work, lifting and moving heavy things around. We do not have fancy computers for everything; we still use a lot of paper records and notebooks. It is just easier for us that way. The office is small and usually has a few people coming in to check on their orders. We do not do much advertising at all. People who need what we have know where we are. It is a busy, dusty environment, but it is home for us. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the delivery drivers throughout the day. That is how we spend our time. Kasba Peth is a lively place, and we are just one small part of the bustle here.
