Prabhat Ice Cream

Prabhat Ice Cream is easy to find because we are right opposite the Ghorpade Peth Police Chowky. Our address is Ghorpade Peth Elphinston Road 317. Being near Swargate means there are always a lot of people moving around. We see a lot of commuters and folks just passing through the area. The shop has been here for some time now. We have several big freezers that hum all day long. Sometimes the door to the freezer gets stuck and you have to pull it hard to get it open. We spend our time wiping down the counters and serving whoever comes in. Since the police station is right there, we see the officers quite a bit too. The road outside is usually packed with buses and rickshaws. It gets pretty dusty, so we are always cleaning the glass. We don't have any fancy seating, just a simple place where you can get your ice cream and go. In the evenings, the street lights come on and the area feels a bit different. We stay busy during the hot months, and things slow down a bit when it rains. We just keep the stock filled and wait for the next customer. It’s a plain, honest business and we like being part of the Ghorpade Peth community.
