Our office is up on the second floor of the City Shopping Complex, specifically at Pmc-Xvii/1761-A5. It is a bit of a climb up those stairs every morning, but the view of the street below is actually quite good. Power Hammer Infra Developers Private Limited is basically just a small group of us trying to make sense of the local building needs. The complex gets quite loud in the afternoons once all the shops are open, so we usually just shut the door to get some real work done. There is always a big table in the center covered in blueprints that never stays tidy for more than five minutes. Usually, one of the guys brings in tea or coffee from the little stall downstairs. It is a very practical space for us. We do not go in for big decorations or fancy furniture because we are out checking on the various infra projects most of the time anyway. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of peace from the main traffic noise and the dust. A lot of our mornings are spent talking to contractors or making sure the supplies are going where they are supposed to go. It is not particularly glamorous work, but it is what we do. Dealing with the local authorities and getting all the bits of paper signed takes up a lot of our time. By the time the sun goes down, we are wrapping up the last few emails.
