Poorvis Dance Academy

We are Poorvis Dance Academy, located over at Deccan Gymkhana. This is a well-known area and we have been here for some time now. Our space is basically a large room with some mirrors on the walls and a floor that has seen a lot of use. It is not a high-end studio with fancy lights, just a place where people come to move. We spend most of our evenings here when the classes are in full swing. Deccan Gymkhana is always bustling, so there is plenty of energy around us. You can hear the music playing from the street sometimes. We do not have a fancy reception desk or anything, just a corner where we keep our bags and water bottles. The students range from little kids to adults who just want to dance a bit after work. It gets quite sweaty and loud when everyone is practicing together. We just focus on the steps and the rhythm. The building is an older one, but the space works for us. We do not really use big advertisements; usually, someone just sees us through the window or hears about us from a friend. It is a very down-to-earth kind of place. We just show up, put on the music, and get to work. It is a simple routine that we have stuck to for years.
