Pooja Enterprises

Pooja Enterprises is tucked away in Nana Peth, right near Talim Chowk. If you know the area, you know how narrow the lanes are and how hard it is to find a parking spot. Our shop is at number 303. It’s a bit of a climb, and the building feels its age, but we have everything stacked up in piles. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing down orders in big ledger books. We handle a lot of hardware and supplies, so there are always boxes sitting in the hallway waiting to be moved. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where work gets done. The air is usually a bit dusty from all the cardboard and metal. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Talim Chowk, and we often send someone out to grab chai for everyone in the afternoon. It gets cramped when a few customers come in at once, but we manage to find what they need under the stacks. Sometimes we lose a pen or a receipt under a pile of papers, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve been operating out of this room for years, and we don't see any reason to change things. It’s just us, some heavy boxes, and a lot of talk about prices and deliveries. That is how life is here in the heart of Nana Peth.
