Pharmaceutical Distributor

We operate as a Pharmaceutical Distributor right in the heart of Kasba Peth in Pune. It is an old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow, which makes deliveries a bit of a challenge sometimes. We spend most of our day moving boxes and checking orders against invoices. The warehouse space is packed with shelves from floor to ceiling. It isn't the most modern facility, but we have a system that works for us. We handle a lot of the supplies that go out to the smaller chemists in the surrounding neighborhoods. It can get very hectic in the mornings when the delivery vans are trying to load up and the narrow lanes are already full of people and scooters. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork and take calls from pharmacies looking for specific items. There is always the smell of cardboard and medicine in the air. We aren't a big multinational corporation; we are just a local business making sure the shops around here have what they need. Some of the staff have been with us for years and they know exactly where every single item is kept without even looking at the labels. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is important to get the numbers right so we don't send the wrong thing out. The building stays cool because of the thick walls, which helps during the summer.
