Pearl Engineering

Working out here in J481 Bhosari Industrial Town is always a bit noisy with all the machines going. Pearl Engineering is basically a small shop where we handle various metal parts and mechanical jobs that come our way. Most days it is just the smell of oil and the sound of cutting steel. We aren't a big corporation with suits or fancy meeting rooms. Instead, we have workbenches and tools that have seen a lot of use over the years. We take on whatever orders the local factories send over. Sometimes it is a lot of small pieces and other times it is one big heavy thing that takes all day to move. The floor is usually covered in some metal shavings by noon. We try to keep things organized but in an engineering shed, that is easier said than done. Lunch is usually eaten quickly so we can get back to the lathes or the drills. It gets hot in the summer under the tin roof but we are used to it by now. People know us for just doing the work and not making a big deal out of it. If a part needs fixing or a new piece needs to be made from a drawing, we just get to it. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. We have been in Bhosari long enough to know most of the guys in the neighboring units and we help each other out when someone is short on a specific tool or needs a hand with a heavy lift.
