Parnikar Commercial & Estates Pvt. Ltd. is actually based in Pune now, even though the name mentions New Delhi. We are located over at Viman Pride Society in Vaman Nagar. The office is in Flat No. 502, which is more of a quiet, residential-style setup than a big commercial building. Pune 411014 is a pretty nice area, and we like being here because it’s not as chaotic as the center of the city. We spend most of our time dealing with property papers and talking to people about commercial spaces. It is a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and checking on different sites. We aren't the type to wear suits and ties every day. It is a pretty relaxed atmosphere in the office. We usually have the window open to get some breeze, although the neighbors can be a bit loud sometimes. Since we are in a society building, we have to follow the local rules, so it’s not like a typical storefront. We’ve been focusing on the estates side of things for a while. It involves a lot of patience because real estate deals always seem to take longer than they should. We just keep our files organized and try to stay on top of the local market trends. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from filing to making the tea. It works for us and we just keep moving along. We have been in this flat for a few years now and it feels like home.
