Panchsheela Pharma

Our pharmacy, Panchsheela Pharma, is set up in Premier Plaza Mall over in Pimpri Chinchwad. It’s a decent sized mall and we’ve been here for a bit. Working in Pimpri Chinchwad means dealing with a lot of local residents and people working in the nearby industries. The shop itself is pretty standard. We’ve got shelves lining the walls filled with all kinds of stuff you’d expect to find. Every morning we come in, turn on the computers, and start checking what needs to be restocked. It’s a lot of inventory work. Sometimes the mall is empty and we just sit and wait, other times three people walk in at once and they’re all in a hurry. We just do our best to find what they need in the stacks. It can get a bit tiring being inside a mall all day without seeing much sunlight, but that’s the job. We don’t do any big advertising or anything. People just see the sign and come in when they need something for a headache or their regular prescriptions. It’s a quiet kind of life, mostly just talking to customers and sorting through paper invoices. We just keep things moving one day at a time, making sure the shop stays open during mall hours. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold, but we just wear a sweater and get on with it.
