Omkar Motor Driving School

At Omkar Motor Driving School, we operate out of Model Colony 470/A. It’s a decent location, though parking the training cars can be a bit of a headache some mornings. I’ve been teaching people to drive for years, and it never gets old seeing that look of panic when they first try to balance the clutch and the accelerator. We keep things very simple here. There’s a small desk where we do the paperwork and then we’re out on the road. The cars aren’t the newest models on the street, but they are reliable and have those extra pedals on the passenger side for safety. Most of our students are youngsters from the colony or office workers who finally decided they need a license. I try to be patient, even when the gears grind or someone stalls in the middle of a busy intersection. It’s a lot of sitting in traffic and watching the mirrors. Sometimes we talk about the weather or local news while we’re driving around. It’s a practical business. We don't promise anything crazy; we just spend the hours needed to make sure someone can handle a car without hitting anything. The office is usually empty because we are almost always out on the streets. If you come by 470/A and nobody is there, we’m probably just out on a lesson and will be back in thirty minutes or so.
