Omkar Ice Cream Parlour

We've been here on Sinhagad Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're right opposite Sattadhar Society and pretty close to Kalasagar Mall 2. It gets busy around here, especially in the evenings when families come out for a walk. We keep things pretty simple. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a few freezers and some basic chairs for people to sit down on. We mostly serve the locals who live in the buildings nearby. It's a small place, but we try to keep it clean enough. Sometimes the kids from the society come over after school or during the summer when it's really hot out. We usually have the standard flavors that everyone likes. It’s mostly just us working here every day, making sure things are running okay. Dealing with the traffic on the main road can be a bit much sometimes, but being near the mall helps people find us easily. We don’t do anything too complicated. Just a regular ice cream parlour where you can grab a cone or a cup and head home. We know a lot of the faces that walk in because they’ve been coming here for years. It's nice to see the same families growing up. Sometimes the fridge makes a bit of noise, but that’s just how it is. We stay open late enough for the after-dinner crowd. It’s a quiet life mostly, just serving ice cream and chatting.
