Om Super Shop

Our little shop is right there at Dhayari 3. It’s a small place where we sell a bit of everything that a household might need in a hurry. From biscuits and chips to soap and light bulbs, we try to keep the essentials on the shelves. I usually sit behind the counter most of the day, talking to the regulars who stop by for their daily newspaper or a cold soda. It gets especially busy during the festival seasons when people need extra sugar, oil, or decorations for their homes. We don’t have a lot of storage space, so I have to order supplies frequently from the wholesalers to keep things fresh. Sometimes the kids from the nearby apartments come in after school for chocolates and it gets a bit noisy for a few minutes while they decide what they want. I’ve lived in Dhayari for years, so I know how the neighborhood works and who lives where. The shop is more than just a business for me; it’s where I spend my whole day and catch up on the local news with everyone. It’s a simple setup with just a few wooden racks and a cooling fridge in the corner. Nothing fancy, but it serves the purpose for us and the folks living nearby. We keep the doors open until quite late because you never know when someone might run out of milk or need a quick refill for their kitchen pantry at the last minute.
