Om Super Market

Our store is located at 1 Hadapsar, right opposite Parihar Chowk. It is a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. Inside, we have rows of shelves packed with everything from bags of rice and lentils to soaps and biscuits. It’s a typical supermarket where we spend a lot of our time restocking items that have run out. The mornings are usually spent dealing with deliveries, hauling boxes inside and making sure the prices are marked correctly on everything. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive lighting; it’s just a practical place to do your daily shopping. Customers come in all day long, some just for a single packet of milk and others for their whole monthly grocery list. We know the regulars who live around Hadapsar and we often have a quick word with them at the counter while ringing things up. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, though it gets dusty with all the foot traffic from the chowk. It can get a bit hectic in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work and stops in at the same time. We just keep the line moving and try to make sure everyone finds what they need on the shelves. It’s a straightforward job of keeping the inventory full and the customers satisfied with their daily essentials. We’ve been here at this spot for years.
