Om Sai Engineers

You will find us over in Chinchwad at number 910. Being an engineering shop, it’s usually pretty loud around here with the sounds of metal being worked on. We don’t have a fancy entrance or a receptionist waiting to greet people. Usually, you’ll just see someone in overalls busy with a machine or a welder. We take on various mechanical jobs and repairs that come our way from the surrounding factories. Chinchwad is a heavy industrial zone, so there is always someone needing a part fixed or something custom made. The shop floor is covered in scrap metal and oil stains, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We don’t spend much on decorations because that isn't why people come to see us. They come because something broke and they need it to work again. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Sometimes we have to work late to get a specific piece finished on time. It’s a lot of hands-on labor, and our hands are rarely clean at the end of the shift. The lighting inside could be better, but we have enough lamps to see the precision work we’re doing on the lathes. It’s just a regular engineering unit trying to keep things moving. We don't talk much, we just focus on the drawings and the tools in front of us.
