Our place, Nr Distributors Pvt. Ltd., is located at 102 in the Dsk Classique building. We are right next to the telephone exchange on Karve Road, which is one of the busiest streets you will find in Pune. Being near the telephone exchange makes it easy for people to find us, but it also means there is constant noise from the road and the crowds. Our office is on the first floor, so we have a bit of a view of the street, which is always packed with vehicles and people heading to work. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few computers, and a lot of files. As a distribution company, we spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages. It’s a lot of coordinating between suppliers and the people who need the goods. There isn't much glory in it; it's just about making sure things get from point A to point B without too many problems. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea, which is probably the most popular spot in the office. The Dsk Classique building is well-known in this area, so we get a fair amount of foot traffic. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls or a receptionist. We just answer the door ourselves and get back to the paperwork. It’s a steady way to spend the day in the middle of a very busy city.
