Hpssindia - Woodfired

Our place is out on Lohgaon Road, not too far from the Pune International Airport area. Hpssindia - Woodfired is mostly about those traditional ovens and wood-fired setups that people are looking for these days. It’s a bit dusty around here in Lohgaon, especially with the airport construction and all the traffic going by. We spend our time working with bricks and insulation. It’s a specific kind of work, building things that can handle a lot of heat. Most people who find us are looking for that specific wood-fired taste for their pizzas or bread. We don't have a flashy showroom. It’s more of a functional space where we build and test things. Sometimes it gets quite loud with the planes overhead, but you get used to it. We deal with local suppliers for our materials whenever we can. It feels like a small community here in this part of Pune. We’re not trying to be some massive corporation. We just like building ovens that work. People often call us with questions about how to set them up, and we just tell them how it is based on what we’ve seen in our daily work. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy stones and mixing mortar. But it’s satisfying when a project is finished and it looks solid. If you’re heading towards the airport, you’ll likely pass near us. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just doing our thing.
