Baki Packi

Our place is up on the second floor at Gera Junction, right there at Lulla Nagar Chowk. If you’ve ever been through Kondhwa Road, you know how the traffic gets. We’re at number 218. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being slow, but we’re used to it. Baki Packi is mostly about packing materials and stuff for people who bake or run small food businesses. We have stacks of boxes and bags everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The office gets a lot of light in the afternoon. We spend most of our time answering calls or helping people who wander in looking for specific container sizes. Lulla Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always noise coming up from the street. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we know most of the regulars by name. It’s a small team of us. We aren't some massive warehouse with robots. We just carry the bundles ourselves and load them up. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in and we have to find space on the shelves. We just try to be helpful. If someone needs ten boxes or a thousand, we just figure it out. It’s a practical business. No big speeches, just plenty of cardboard and plastic and the daily grind of the chowk. We just try to get the orders out as fast as we can.
