Working at Unit No. 201 & 202 in the Pentagon Tower-1 is a bit different from the factories. We are right in Magarpatta City, Hadapsar. It’s a big area with a lot of glass buildings and people carrying laptops. Our office is on the second floor. It stays cool inside because of the air conditioning, which is a relief when the Pune sun is hitting hard outside. We deal with all the Ferrero India Private Limited stuff for the region from here. It’s mostly computers, phones, and a lot of meetings. We have people coming in and out from different parts of the city. The commute to Hadapsar can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to leave early. It’s not all just talk, though. We have to make sure the distribution and the numbers all line up. You can see the city spread out from the windows. The desks are usually covered in papers and maybe a few wrappers here and there. It’s a busy place but we try to keep it friendly. Sometimes we grab lunch at the spots nearby in Magarpatta. It’s a modern building, very different from the small shops I used to work in. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure everything runs smooth for the brand. It’s a lot of coordination between different teams. We’re just regular people trying to keep things moving from these two units.
