If you head down the Chakan Shikrapur Road, you’ll eventually hit Gat No -194 in Dattawadi. That’s where Nirmitee Solar Pvt Ltd is located. It’s a bit of a drive out to Shelgaon, but we like being out here away from the worst of the city traffic. We’ve got a good amount of space for the solar equipment and whatever else is being worked on that week. The yard can get a bit messy when a big shipment comes in, but we try to keep it organized. It’s mostly local folks working here. We know the area well and we know how the weather affects the work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just the one that does the work right. The road can get pretty bumpy during the monsoon season, which makes deliveries a bit of an adventure sometimes. We spend a lot of time on site or in the back checking the inventory. There’s always coffee or tea going in the small kitchen area. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just know about solar and we spend our time making sure the panels and systems are ready for use. It’s practical work. Most of us have been in this industry for a few years now, so we’ve seen all the common problems. We just deal with them as they come and try to keep things simple.
