New Pragati Driving School

We’re based in Hadapsar, Pune, right near the Kalyan Vel Shop. If you’re from this side of town, you know exactly where that is. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years, teaching our neighbors and their kids how to drive. Pune traffic is something else, and Hadapsar can get pretty crowded, especially during the peak hours. We don’t have a flashy storefront or a big marketing budget. Most of our students come to us because their friends told them we’re decent people to learn from. We take the car out, sit in the passenger seat, and just talk you through it. It’s about getting that muscle memory for the clutch and learning how to watch the mirrors without getting distracted. We don't use any fancy language or complicated lessons. It’s just practical driving. We start out on the quieter roads near the shop and then slowly move into the thicker traffic as the student gets better. Our office is just a simple place where we manage the schedules and help with the license applications. We’ve seen hundreds of people go from being totally lost to driving confidently through the city streets. It’s steady work, and we like the fact that we’re helping people in our community get more independent. We just keep it real and focus on getting the job done. It's been a long journey for us too.
