Our workplace is tucked away in Model Colony on the third floor of the Apoorva Hira building. It’s at FP number 496 B 5. Model Colony is one of those parts of Pune that still has some old trees and a bit of a quieter feel, though it's getting busier every year. We are mostly involved in developing different spaces and managing the planning side of things. The office isn't massive. It’s got a few rooms where we keep our drawings and the computers we use for the day-to-day tasks. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding trees, which is nice when we take a break from looking at surveys. We spend a lot of time discussing site layouts and talking to the folks who are helping us build. It’s a straightforward kind of environment. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby with coffee machines. Usually, one of us just gets up to answer the door when someone knocks. The building itself is easy enough to find once you are on the right street near survey number 1119/8. We’ve been working from here for a while and the routine is pretty set. We get the work done, handle the local permits, and try to keep our projects on track. It’s just a normal office where we put in the hours and then head home through the Pune traffic.
