C. J. Wire Net Products

We work out of Shed No. 1 and 2 in the Anant Industrial Estate. It’s located in Village Dhayari, right on the Dhayari-Narhe Road. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know it’s full of small workshops and factories making all sorts of things. Our sheds are usually pretty noisy because the machines for weaving the wire nets are constantly running. There’s a lot of metal dust around, so we’re always sweeping, but it never really stays clean. We have a small desk tucked into a corner where we handle the orders and talk to suppliers. The roof is made of tin, so when it rains, you can’t hear a word anyone says. We’ve been at this for years, and our hands are pretty calloused from handling the coils of wire every day. Most of the guys working here live nearby in Narhe, so we’ve become a tight group. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone wants to see what we make, they just come into the shed and look at the rolls stacked against the wall. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the shift, we’re all pretty tired. We load the trucks ourselves most of the time. It’s a practical business, and we just keep our heads down and get the work done for the customers. Sometimes the forklift acts up and we have to fix it ourselves, which takes up half the morning, but that is just part of the job.
