Enkeicastalloy Ltd.

We’ve been running Enkeicastalloy Ltd out of this flat in Vadgaon Sheri for quite some time now. It’s Flat Number 204 in the Simran Park building, which is part of the Bombay Sappers Colony. If you know Pune, you know this area can get pretty busy with all the traffic coming and going. Our office isn’t much to look at, just some old desks, a few filing cabinets that don’t always close right, and a lot of alloy samples scattered around. We spend most of our days here dealing with the casting work and talking to our suppliers. It’s a small team, mostly just us and a couple of helpers who come in during the week. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or a big reception desk. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers on the table and some half-empty tea cups. The morning sun hits the balcony nicely, but by the afternoon it gets really hot, so we have to keep the curtains drawn and the fans on high. Most people in the colony know us as the guys who are always moving heavy boxes in and out of the elevator. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger industrial shed, but the rent here is decent and we like the neighborhood. It’s practical for what we do and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place.
