If you come down to Range Hills 100, you will find Somesh Forges Pvt Ltd. It is usually a pretty loud place to be. Forging metal makes a lot of noise and a whole lot of heat. We have got the hammers and the furnaces running through most of the day. If you are walking anywhere near Range Hills 100, you will probably hear the thumping before you even see our building. It is a gritty kind of job but we have been at it for a long time. The floor is always a bit dusty and there is that heavy smell of hot iron hanging in the air. We do not have a fancy reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and someone will usually look up from whatever they are heating or hitting at the time. The guys all wear heavy boots and protective gear because it gets intense in there when the metal is glowing. We handle all sorts of different metal parts, some tiny and some that take two people to move. Range Hills is a decent enough area to work in though it gets crowded when the shifts change over. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to get the orders finished right and out the door on time. Most of our day is spent checking the measurements and making sure the steel is cooling down the way it should.
