We have been at Shop No 9 in Millennium Plaza for a good while now. It is right on Sole Patil Road and pretty close to Ruby Hall, so there is always a lot of activity outside our door. Most mornings start with rolling up the metal shutters and letting some air into the shop. The shelves are mostly full of boxes and bottles that we have to count and organize every couple of days. It gets a bit dusty because of the traffic on the road, so someone is usually wiping down the counters. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just marking off lists of what needs to go out. The space inside is not huge, but we make it work by stacking things carefully. It can get a bit loud with the horns and people walking by toward the hospital, but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless it rains really hard and the road gets messy. We usually just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. There is a small tea stall a few steps away where we grab a drink during the afternoon slump. It is just a regular place where we try to keep things moving without too much fuss or complications.
