Myst Dance Academy

You can find Myst Dance Academy at Sadashiv Peth 61. It’s a simple building and the studio is on one of the floors there. We’ve got mirrors on the walls and a wooden floor that we try to keep clean for the dancers. It’s not a massive space, but it’s enough for the groups we have coming in for classes. We’ve been in Sadashiv Peth for a while and the locals mostly know who we are. There’s always music playing, which probably bothers the neighbors sometimes, but they haven't complained much lately. The stairs up to the studio are a bit steep and can be tiring. We have a small area where people can leave their shoes and bags before they start. It gets a bit sweaty in the summer months because the ventilation isn't the best, but we have some large fans to help out. We don't have a big front desk or a secretary waiting to greet you. Usually, one of us just handles the sign-ins on a clipboard. It’s a practical place for people who want to move and learn. We aren't some high-end luxury studio with bottled water. It’s just a place to dance. We spend our evenings here mostly when the classes start. The morning is usually for cleaning and getting things ready for the next group. Myst Dance Academy is just a small part of the community at number 61. We like the vibe of this area. It feels real.
