Musico Guitar Institute

We are located over on Central Road No 7 in the MIDC area of Deccan Gymkhana. Musico Guitar Institute isn’t some big academy with glass walls and expensive rugs. It’s a straightforward space where we teach people how to play. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with the sound of someone practicing their scales or trying to get a difficult chord right. We have a few instructors who have been with us for a long time. They know their way around an acoustic or an electric guitar quite well. The furniture is a bit worn out from years of students sitting and practicing, but the guitars themselves are kept in good shape. It can be a bit of a drive to get out to this part of the industrial estate, but it’s quiet enough for people to actually hear what they’re playing. We don’t promise to turn anyone into a rock star overnight. That’s not how it works at all. We just show you where to put your fingers and how to keep time. It takes a lot of patience, both for us and the students. We’ve had all sorts of people come through those doors, from kids to retired folks who finally have time to learn. If you want to learn, we are here. Just bring your guitar or use one of ours for the lesson when you come by.
