Musical Vibration

Down here at 1019 Sadashiv Peth, we keep things pretty basic. Musical Vibration is just a small shop tucked into the street where we handle instruments and repairs. The building is older, so the floors creak a bit when you walk in, but it’s a good place for music. We have a lot of sitars and harmoniums piled up because that’s what most people around here are looking for. It gets dusty sometimes with all the wood and strings, but we try to keep it tidy enough to find things. People stop in after work or school to talk about their practice or to ask for help with a bridge that’s slipped. We don’t have a website or a marketing team. It’s just us behind the counter. My father started this years ago, and we’ve stayed in the same spot because it’s where everyone knows to find us. The street outside is usually loud with scooters, but inside, we just focus on the sound of the instruments. We don't try to sell you the most expensive thing in the room. Usually, we just look for whatever fits what you're trying to play. If you need a string replaced or want to see what we have in stock, just walk in and have a look. We might be busy with a repair, but we'll get to you as soon as we can. It is a quiet, practical life.
