Our shop is number 14 in the Lamour building, right near Bhoomkar chowk in Wakad. If you know the area, you know how hectic that junction can get at almost any time of day. Mohmmad and Malik Housing LLP has been operating from here for a while. We aren't doing anything fancy; it’s mostly just sitting down with people and talking about housing options in this part of Pune. Wakad is changing every day with new buildings going up left and right. We try to keep track of it all from our little space on Sr No. 123/2/3. It’s a small shop, so we don't have room for much besides our desks and a few old files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out meeting people at construction sites to see how things are looking. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just know the local streets and who is building what. People stop by after work because the chowk is such a central spot for the neighborhood. Sometimes it’s just to ask for directions, but usually, it's about finding a place to live or a small investment. We just give them the facts about what’s available. It’s a straightforward business. We don't put out glossy brochures or use a lot of technical talk. We just write things down on pads of paper and show people what we’ve found in the local area. It’s how we’ve always done it, and it seems to work out okay.
