You can find us down on Dr Saldhana Street, right near Shivaji Market in the Camp area. It's an old part of town with a lot of history. We've been operating out of this spot since forever, it feels like. The morning starts very early for us, way before the sun is up. That’s when the milk arrives and we have to get everything sorted. It’s cold and quiet then. Later on, the whole market wakes up and it gets really noisy outside. We sell milk, curd, and whatever else people need for their kitchens. It’s a simple shop. We don’t have much space, so everything is tucked in where it fits. The floor usually stays a bit wet from cleaning up. We see the same faces every morning, mostly people from the neighborhood grabbing their daily supplies. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and moving things around. We don't really have a lot of downtime. By the afternoon, things slow down a bit before the evening rush. It’s just how life is in the market. We like the bustle of Dr Saldhana Street. It keeps us on our toes. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here. It’s been that way for a long time now. Just a local dairy doing its bit for the folks who live nearby. It is hard work but it is what we know.
