We are based over in Shivaji Nagar. It is one of those parts of town where everyone seems to be in a hurry. Our office reflects that a bit, with people coming and going all the time. It is an engineering and consultancy setup, so you will see a lot of rolled-up drawings and stacks of technical reports on the tables. We have been here for a long time, and the office has that lived-in feel. It is not one of those modern places with bean bags or glass walls. We have solid desks and shelves full of old files that probably should have been archived years ago. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been in the industry for a while. We talk about projects over lunch at the small places around Shivaji Nagar. It is a practical environment. We deal with a lot of numbers and technical details, so the atmosphere is usually pretty quiet, except for the sound of the printers. Sometimes we have meetings that go on too long, but that is part of the job. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a group of people who know our way around engineering problems, working out of a standard office in a busy neighborhood. We keep our coffee mugs on our desks and focus on getting the reports finished on time for everyone.
