Microtech Engineers

Microtech Engineers is our little workshop tucked away at 996/2 Sadashiv Peth, right on the Kumbarpet Main Road. If you know the area, you know it is always crowded with people and scooters. We have been working out of this space for quite a while now. We do engineering work, mostly small parts and repairs that require a bit of precision. The space is filled with lathes and drills. It smells like oil and metal shavings most of the time. We are not a big factory, just a local shop where we take on jobs that come our way. Sometimes it is a single piece that needs fixing, other times it is a small batch of components for a bigger machine. Sadashiv Peth has a lot of history and we feel like part of the furniture here. The street noise is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We do not have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you will probably find us hunched over a machine or looking at some drawings on a workbench. We keep our tools organized, but the rest of the shop can get a bit cluttered when we are busy. We work standard hours and try to get things done when we say we will. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We do not mind the grime; it is just part of the job.
