Micromech Engineering

Micromech Engineering is situated over on Sinhagad Road, specifically in the 2nd Stage of the Rpc Layout. You’ll find us on the 9th Cross, at number 14 on the 5th Main. It is a bit of a maze to get here if you don’t know the turns. We are an engineering shop that focuses on small, precise parts. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of metal dust and the machines have that specific smell of warm oil and coolant. I spend my hours looking through calipers and adjusting settings on the lathes. It’s quiet work in some ways, but the precision requires a lot of concentration. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; most people find out about us through word of mouth in the local industry. The building itself is older, and the windows are a bit high up, so we rely on overhead lights mostly. We have a small bench where we sit for lunch and talk about the news or the traffic on the way in. It is a steady pace of work here. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the components we produce meet the requirements given to us by our clients. Sometimes a job takes longer than expected because the material is stubborn, but that is just the nature of working with metal. We stay focused on the measurements until the job is done correctly.
