Mhaske Polymer

Our little unit is at No. 17 in Bhumkar Nagar, which is over in the Narhe area. We are quite close to the Savta Mali Mandir, so you can often hear the bells or the music from the temple rituals while we are busy working. The space is basically a workshop filled with various polymer materials and some basic machinery that runs most of the day. It’s not a very quiet job at all, as there is always something humming or clanking in the background. We don't have a lot of people working here, just a small group that knows the routine and gets on with things. The walls are a bit stained from the dust and the nature of the work, but that is just part of being in this kind of trade. We spend our days measuring things out and making sure the machines are running correctly for each batch. Narhe has grown quite a lot lately with new housing, but our corner feels pretty much the same as it always has. We don't do much marketing; people usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them about where we are located. It’s very straightforward work. We get the raw materials in, do what needs to be done, and then get the finished stuff out the door for delivery. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we just put some planks down and keep on going with our tasks every single day.
