Medicine House

Medicine House is located in the Runwal Heritage Building at Dange Chowk. Being at Shop Number 3 means we are right on the ground floor. Dange Chowk is a really busy junction, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside the door. The building itself is a well-known landmark in this part of town. We have a decent amount of space inside, but we fill it up quickly with all the stock we have to keep on the shelves. Most days involve a lot of unpacking and checking lists. We aren't a corporate office, just a local shop where we do our daily work. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the routine well. We get a lot of commuters who stop by because they are passing through the junction on their way home. The lighting in the shop is okay, but we often keep the door open to let in more light and see what’s happening on the street. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we have a couple of fans going behind the counter. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; we still do a lot of things by hand. It's just a straightforward way to run a business. We focus on having what people need when they come in from the busy street. It is a simple operation in a busy part of the city.
